Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

You should know that these substances stimulate the sympathetic nervous system, leading a 'fight or flight response'. They lead to excessive loads of adrenaline and noradrenaline in your blood leading to anxiety, increased heart rate and blood pressure and increased breathing frequency.

These reactions would explain your symptoms.

The chest pain could be related to anxiety, but I would recommend peforming some tests to investigate for other possible causes:

- a resting ECG
- a cardiac stress test
- a chest X ray study
- some blood lab tests (complete blood count, blood electrolytes, thyroid hormone levels, kidney and liver function tests, fasting glucose.

You should know that these substances can lead to myocardial ischemia and changes in the coronary arteries, leading to an increased risk for a heart attack or stroke.

That is why, I would strongly recommend you to avoid their use.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri

rehab isn't far off into my future, its just inhave no one I fully trust to run my business while I am gone.

Just a brief background, my mom died this year right after I graduated college, my business hit 7 figures that same week, got sued for the first time and my gf of years is having an abortion.

indont like the word stressed, it's really overused, but this past few months have been mentally strenuous. it's looking like the last of grandparents is on borrowed time this year and my mom's fiance killed himself once I transferred estate privileges, which was just a mess judicially

one last thing, when intake 1-5mg?) basically a prodrug to xanax I think

1-5mg etizolam

I had my first, what I believe to be, full panic attack a few weeks ago, my whole boys slowly lost all feeling and I was just in this manuc state of wan4ing no one to touch me or move me.....i knew it was a panic attack but it's like a more primal side overrode the logic.

in was fine after sleeping

Hello again!

Yes, anxiety and panic attacks can be caused by these substances.

Yes, etizolam can help relieve your symptoms, but you should know that this drug should not be used for a long time, because it can cause addiction and tolerance (as all other benzodiazepines).

One tablet 5mg would help in case of any panic attack.

If these episodes occur more frequently, you should consult with a psychiatrist and start an antidepressant, which are better tolerated when taken for a prolonged time.

I would also encourage you to reduce amphetamine intake, as it is the main cause to trigger this symptomatology. I understand that you have had a lot of stress lately, but these substances do not help. Otherwise, they can trigger a panic attack even in the absence of emotional stress.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Wishing all the best,

Hello!

You are really addicted to these substances. Even the dose of etizolam that you are taking is not acceptable.

I would recommend consulting with a toxicologist to help you fight against these addiction in the best way.

Addiction can lead to increased anxiety and all your troubles.

Stopping these drugs may be difficult because of withdrawal syndrome, but it is the only way to be sure that you will live a long life.

All these substances cause chronic changes in your cardio-vascular system, leading to an increased risk for a heart attack or a stroke.

You should consult with a specialist of this field to help you get through this situation.

My answer as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

The fact that your test results are normal, means that actually you have no cardiac or lung disorder.

But, as I already explained to you, these substances, when used for a long time cause chronic progressive changes in the heart and blood vessels, leading to arrhythmia, hypertension and increased cardio-vascular risk.

That is why, the best thing to prevent those possible complications is to stop taking these drugs.

Hope to have been helpful!

Wishing good health,

Dr. Iliri
