Question: I work for a radiology company and haven't felt good the last few days. I got dull chest pain this morning, heaviness and they did several ekg's on me. all abnormal saying Premature ventriculr complexes and fusion complexes, ST & T wave abnormality, consider later ischemia. Anterospetal infarct, consider inferolateral ischemia. T wave abnormality, consider lateral ischemia. Cannot rule out inferior infarct. Sinus rhythme with AV dissociation and Acclerated Junctional rhythm with occasional premature ventricular complexes. Cannot rule our inferieiro infarct. Abnormal Ekg. I felt ok for last 30 minutes and now I have some small beltching and I am getting the heaviness again and my right arm feels funny. I have 6 Ekgs but only able to upload 3

Brief Answer:
Many artefacts. Go to ER if very symptomatic

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX

I can understand your concern with the EKG machine making so many diagnosis in you. This is basically because your EKGs have different artefacts.
So we do not rely on what the machine interprets.
Have you been having any chest discomfort when you were exerting like walking up steps or up hill over the past several days? Did you have any sweating or breathing difficulty with the chest discomfort? Did you eat anything that could have caused a tummy upset?
You should get a blood test - Troponin and that will give you the information whether you had any significant ischemic episode.
Also be relaxed and hold your breath while the EKG is being taken. You could have the EKG repeated, preferably with another machine, if possible and upload the same. I will have a look at that.
If there is severe chest discomfort, sweating, breathless or dizziness, you should go the nearest ER. It is better to err on the side of caution. Telemedicine cannot replace a good clinical examination and interpretation of the test results.

Hope you get well soon.
