What Causes Chest Pain?

Question: I feel a little foolish because the chest pain l have been experiencing is more of a nuisance but it is happening more frequently. I have other serious health problems so l have a tendency to downplay anything new. I also have progressive MS and many years ago l weni into cardiac arrest related to the MS. I have been told my heart is fine, l just need to take medicine medicine for tachycardia since the arrest.

There are many reasons for chest pain, which can be cardiac chest pain or Non-cardiac chest pain. If its a cardiac chest pain you need to worry about it.
As you have been already told by a cardiologist that your heart is fine there is nothing to worry about it.

I assume your chest pain is of musculo-skeletal origin. So consult your family physician discuss your problem .
