Brief Answer:
Acid reflux should be ruled out before using aspirin.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Chest pain could be symptom of several conditions including heart problems (angina), acid reflux, pulmonary problems. etc.

Baby aspirin helps in preventing heart attack, but first you need to rule out gastroesophageal acid reflux as a possible cause of chest pain.

Chest pain related to acid reflux is worsened when you lay down, heart and pulmonary problems worsen during physical effort.

I suggest you to discuss with your Doctor about these issues, before starting baby aspirin.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
