Question: Hi, i am a 27 yr old female. chest pain started last night after being violently ill, along with my arms going numb for the last couple days. i am fit and do strenuous exercise 5 days a week. but i'm concerned should i see my physician or is this a possible chest cold.

The chest pain that you had can be a muscular pain caused by electrolyte imbalance due to illness. The numbness in the arms is also likely to be due to fluid and electrolyte imbalance or vitamin B12 deficiency.
You can increase your electrolyte rich fluid intake like fresh fruit juices and garotade, do a hot compress and steam inhalation. These measures should help you improve. In case the symptoms are persistent then do consult your physician for a detailed examination.
