Posted on Mon, 7 Dec 2015
Question: Hello Doctor, Its been 6 months I had a D&E due to foetus abnormalities. But now i am getting 20 days menstrual cycle for last 2-3 months. I always had 25 days cycle so i thought 20 days might be normal sometimes. But this is happening regularly now. My age is 33 and I am married since 1 year. i do not have any children. It was my first pregnancy i had omphalocele so had to drop it in May 2015. I am again planning go conceive in a month or so. what can be cause of this early cycle. And is there any precautions i shall take? thanks.

Brief Answer:
No active treatment needed

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
It is common to have altered cycle pattern after abortion and in case they are regular then nothing to worry.
No active intervention needed and just keep trying for pregnancy naturally and visit your gynecologist as soon as you get pregnant.
Till then take fresh fruits and vegetables daily along with milk and dry fruits.
Take care
Regards
Dr Manisha
