Brief Answer:
Panic attacks!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this frightening experience that had today. I know it must have raised more questions than answers and we would try to understand what this is all about.

I have read through all the sequence of events and the various reported symptoms. They are suggestive of a panic attack.. This is a state where the body gets to trigger an exaggerated adrenalin driven reaction. This manifest with symptoms of racing heart, sweating, increased blood pressure, feeling of imminent death, fainting sensation, blur vision, dizziness etc. It generally last for about 10mins and slowly fades away. Laboratory investigations and clinical exams are often without any abnormality detected.

To address this, I will suggest that you get the services of a psychiatrist for proper evaluation and a treatment plan. He would also try to rule out other possibilities like thyroid and adrenal pathologies. Drugs and coping techniques would prove helpful here should this be the case.

I hope this helps and addresses your query. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Thank you so much for using our services.
