Is there only burning sensation or water filled lesions are also present. 2. How frequently you get this sensation. 3. Any relation to a particular food ? only burning sensation......in night sometimes during day..no relation to food..when i eat spicy food or brush my teeth it burns more when the tooth paste gets on my lip...bottom lip only..

Brief Answer: perioral dermatitis Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for the follow up. Probabaly it's just perioral dermatitis and not herpes. Apply a mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone twice daily. You will get relief within a week. Let me know if you have any other doubts. Thank you
