Hello,

Thank you for your reply

I am a make 31 years olld. My last blood test around 3 years revealed I was a little potassium deficient and was told to eat more leafy greens.

1) the burning in my stomach has been going on for years now. I would say for 6-7 years and has got somewhat more intense. Especially after coffee or sauce foods even grape juice. But as you asked yes after I eat more. If I turn on my left side when sleeping the burning goes away perett much.

The burning sensation does not wake me up it is the feeling of being hot and than I can get a jolt feeling in my head that wakes me up. I do tend to get fluid buildup in my ears and can hear them crackle sometimes when I move my jaw around (not sure if that has anything to do with the woosh faint feeling I get)

I do not think I am diabetic or have hypertension but I do get hot all over my body sweaty palms and heart races.

I am not on any meds but I do from time to time at least twice a week take Advil or Excedrin

My dad is on anti depressants for nerve damage. My mother has been on medication for minor seizures. My dad has prostate cancer and is in a mild form and is being treated. My mother had breast cancer and is cleared. My mother comes from a large family and a lot have separate illnesses much if not most was brought on by smoking or drinking. My mother and I both do not smoke or drink.

No history of either diarrea or constipation

The pain does not happen behind the chest usually below the ribs mid to lower stomach.

The light head vertigo feeling just started about 6 months ago and does not happen everyday it is random but pretty unnerving when it occurs, the same with the hotness especially at night and the feeling of my body almost feeling swollen especially my hands and face. It comes and goes at random.

Thank you for your help.

Brief Answer:
Most probably Acid Peptic Disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back with the answers. I have gone through them.

Probable diagnosis from your symptoms could be Acid Peptic Disease & Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). I would suggest you to get an appointment for a gastroenterologist as he is specialized in treating these conditions. Also you would be requiring some medicines which are prescription only medicines and you can get easily by visiting him. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:

> Medical Care:
- Omeprazole one daily for 14 days
- sucralfate suspension thrice a day for 10 days
- a baseline ECG to confirm status of heart

> General Care:
Medical care can do NOTHING if you don't take general care about your health. Following steps would help you to recover slowly:

- take small frequent meals.
- take 30-45 mins walk/exercise daily in the evening. It will make you fresh, healthy and is good for digestion.
- Don't lie down immediately after taking meal
- raise head end of your bed slightly(by an inch)
- Eat a diet rich in fiber, especially from fruits and vegetables

> AVOID:
fatty & oily food.
spices
heavy meals at night
carbonated & caffeine drinks
chocolates

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!

Brief Answer:
Yes it could be possible

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for the followup query.

Yes there is possibility because when there is acid reflux from stomach towards esophagus(food pipe) then it causes such feeling. Hopefully by starting care as mentioned will help you to reduce the severity. One thing you should keep in mind that it is a slow process and you need to be consistent with it.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
