What Causes Burning Sensation And Tingling Of Face?
Question: I have been experiencing a rocking sensation and tingling in my face. I also feel like I'm drunk or high a lot of the time even though I do not drink or take drugs. These sensations get worse if I'm moving my head or riding in a car. What can be causing these symptoms and can they be due to a cervical disc problem?
I also notice that when the rocking sensation is at it's worse, my gait and balance seems really off and I tend to waddle instead of walking straight ahead.

Herniated disc and cervical spondylosis can very well explain your complaints. However you will need to be thoroughly examined and evaluated before arriving at this conclusion.
Vertebral artery that supplies the posterior aspect of brain might get nipped especially when you turn / bend leading to the rocking sensation (vertigo), nausea, imbalance and gait issues. Facial numbness may be due to the same reasons or due to nerve compression arising directly from the neck.
I can very well connect your symptoms to the neck problem out here; however without a clinical examination and thorough investigations it is not appropriate to arrive at this conclusion. If I were your treating physician, I would like to evaluate the posterior neck artery, the current state of cervical spine, posterior brain, your heart and ear functions before concluding. Battery of tests such as compete hemogram, ESR, X-ray / CT / MRI spine, doppler study of neck blood vessels, MRI scan of brain will be my initial set of investigations to start the evaluation.
