Hi XXXXXXX

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

1. Burning sensation, cramp in upper stomach are signs of hyperacidity problems with the duodenum and lower part of the stomach. You are saying to have conducted upper endoscopy and it was found irritation of the stomach (gastritis). If you had the scope one year back, I'd suggest to get retested again now to evaluate the changes in order to determine the best treatment.

2. When there is hyperacidity of the stomach liquid passing in the intestines/bowels, that will induce peristalsis (bowel movement). Thus, foods will remain very little inside the bowels resulting in gassy yellow stool to diarrhea.

3. Another possible cause could be gallbladder problems. If I was your caring doctor would advise to run abdominal ultrasound, liver function test for further evaluation.

4. It is true that changing your diet will help ease the symptoms you are currently having. Apart increasing water intake, and cutting fried foods, eating more vegetables and less meat, I'd recommend as following:
- eat often and small portions\
- do not skip your meals
- chew up slowly
- do not lay down immediately after eating
- avoid chilly/spicy/oily foods
- avoid caffeinated/chocolate drinks
- avoid those foods/drinks that would make your symptoms worse
- avoid anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen as they will aggravate your symptoms
- take antacids after meal
- to my opinion you should continue with another PPIs for a few more weeks

Hope it was of help!
