Brief Answer:
Sebaceous cyst most probably

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HCM...

I have gone through your query and I can understand your concern for lump near medial canthi of eyes. After reading history and looking at photo you posted, I feel that most probably the lesion may be the cyst. Sebaceous cyst is more likely , as it is commonly found around the eyes.
Epidermal inclusion cyst may be other diagnosis to be considered. Epidermal inclusion cyst contains only keratin, while sebaceous cyst contains keratin, fat, cholesterol and epithelial cells. The cyst occurs due to blockage of Zeiss gland, Miebomian gland or sebaceous gland in association with hair follicle.

You can consult the dermatologist for the firm diagnosis. After clinical examination and necessary investigations, he might decide to remove the cyst under local anaesthesia. The condition is benign,so do not worry. And surgery is also minor operation.

I hope this would help you.

Thanks.
