Brief Answer: These are called as flashes and require evaluation Detailed Answer: Hello Welcome to Health Carr magic. It seems from the history that you are having of seeing flashes of light on seeing towards right side in right eye. These symptoms are called as flashes of light. These symptoms are usually find in problems affecting the peripheral retina like retinal retinal tear or somrtimes just indicate traction over the retina. Hence examination of the retina is required at the earliest. This can be done by indirect ophthalmoscooy by a ophthalmologist. No need to worry as on treatment by prophylactic laser further progression can be prevented if any retinal problem is found on examination. Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you. Thank you
