What Causes Breathing Difficulty And Rib Cage Pain After Recovering From Chicken Pox?
I am currently out of XXXXXXX and a month ago, I got infected with chickenpox(this is the first time) and after taking proper medication, I recovered after 2 weeks and from the last 2-3 days, I am feeling a little difficult to breath sometimes and also all of a sudden, I am feeling a little pain under my right ribs.(The pain is very mild and it doesn’t stay for long).
Could you please suggest if this pain might be related to after effects of chickenpox by any chance?
as explained in details.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Male/*27 - out of XXXXXXX - Chicken pox a month ago - recovered after 2 weeks - little difficult to breath 2-3 days - little pain under right ribs all of a sudden - wants to know whether this pain be related to after effects of Chicken pox ....
My thoughts after reading your history:
Since you are 27, the recovery from Chicken pox or any such viral affection takes more time than children take. But since it is about a month the relation between the problems of today are difficult to correlate with Chicken pox.
Yet considering you to be still in the recovery phase, the causes of little difficulty to breath and little pain under the right rib may be due to mild inflammation of the lower part of the lower lung, pleura or ribs itself (costochondritis) or intra-abdominal organs like liver or gall bladder (this being on right side)
I hope this answers your query specifically, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
Better to consult a Doctor.
Detailed Answer:
It will be worth to get this evaluated clinically from a Doctor and get the X-ray Chest and Ultrasound of the abdomen and further treatment under the care of your consulting Doctor so that nothing is missed and you get an appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
Breakfast - Wheat flakes (Cereals) + milk + 2 slices of bread (sometimes an apple too)
Lunch - 3/4 cup of rice with any curry(not fried items) and curd.
Dinner - Pita bread (Made from mix of wheat flour and white flour)
No need to worry about.

Hi.
Thanks for your feedback.
Read your feedback well.
It is very common to have fat in the liver now-a-days as we see such a report in most of the patients.
Since you are already taking a proper diet without fried things, you need no extra care or extra dietary restrictions.
Regular exercises of whatever way you can do is fine addition.
X-ray chest would also have been done just to make sure that there is nothing in the lungs or pleura.
I hope this answer helps you.
