What Causes Boils On Underarms And Pubic Area?
Question: What causes boils underarm and abdominal pubic area?any treatment suggested?

Hello. Boils on underarms and pubic area can be caused by fungal and/or bacterial infections commonly. Sometimes superficial rashes are formed due to fungal infection and secondary bacterial infection supervenes over it. I usually advice strict hygeinic control and multi antibiotic creams like Tripoderm and Quadriderm along with oral antibiotics like Augmentin and Tinidazole.
But it would be preferable to see a Dermatologist first or upload photos of the boils so we can have a better idea of what we are dealing with.

A blood test of March 2015, showed Arsenic value of 8.56 ug/l against normal range of <5.00 ug/l . Is it possible that boils or as suggested online, 'hidradenitis suppurattiva ' is caused by this elevated Arsenic?
Is Doxy-1 L-DR Forte , Doxycycline capsules effective for treatment of boils?

This is very good news that the boils are subsiding. I suggest you have the medicines for a total of 7 to 10days. But they are very common to recur. So please keep the area dry at all times. The commonest cause is blocking of pores due to sweat or sebum.
The raised Arsenic level is not understood. I suggest you repeat the test after two to three weeks to know whether it is decreasing or not. It could be from environmental exposure through drinking water or consuming foods with accidental arsenic poisoning. But repeat the test after three weeks and if it is elevated you will need drugs called chelators like dimercaprol later.
