What Causes Body Tremors And Fainting?

default
Posted on Tue, 28 Jun 2016
Question: My husband frequently gets the shakes over his whole body. If we are home, he lies down, and doesn't faint. If we are out, the shaking leads to fainting. Is this more likely to be cardiac or neurological? Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Most likely neurological.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

In my opinion seizures should be considered as the first cause of your husband's concerns.

Cardiac issues don't cause shaking, but may develop due to restricted physical activity.

Get evaluated by a Neurosurgeon.

Greetings.
