What Causes Body Aches And Cold In A Teenager?

Question: 17 year old male, moderate chills and really cold, body aches, glandes sore, irritable and no appetite, onset was yesterday.

I have gone through your question .
Possible viral or bacterial infection.
Please give me some more information so I can have a clear idea about your situation.
Do you have high temperature ( measure it) ,fever.?
-You mean your neck glands are sore ? are they swollen
- How is your throat ( does it heart, your tonsills are red/white or swollen ?
-Do you have any other symptoms, ?Any medication you take ?
-Are your nose blocked or running ?
-Take some antiimflammator ( Ibuprofen 200-400 mg)-
-Drink planty of water , drink warm (not hot)tea.
-For Sinusitis,breath warm air (use boiled water ,put you head on it ) .

Follow up: Dr. Rudina Balliu (5 hours later)

Has never had a fever over 98.5 for past illnesses, got to 101.5 before ibuprofen, neck glands sore, body aches, neck very stiff, throat OK, had chills/shakes was very cold under 4 blankets and was still cold - not cold any longer. Rotating Extra Strength Tylenol and ibuprofen.

Could be a vital infection , keep using Ibuprofen and stay hydrated its very important.
If you don't feel any better during the following days or you develop high temperature, fever it's neccesary to be seen by a local doctor ( physical examinations, blood test ) and to start the treatment with antibiotics .
