Question: Hi, My father is having diabetes from last 29 years. He is around 72 years old now. Few years back,he had an internal bleeding in ratina and we went for Lasik Operation twice in XXXXXXX AT present he is having very low vision and when he tries to read newspaper headlines or Focus on somthing, his vision gets blurred after 5 minutes.I already shown him to various doctors in XXXXXXX but no change in vision quality. I am planning to visit XXXXXXX Netralaya to have an opinion from specialist. Please advice which speciality/Doctor should I contact for quick/better results and proper suggestion.



My father is presently in XXXXXXX with me. Please suggest whether to go to XXXXXXX Netralaya, XXXXXXX directly or visit a specialist in XXXXXXX first. Please suggest best Specialist in XXXXXXX based on my father's problem.

Hi, Lasik was done 6 years back.Major problem is that now,from one eye he is not able to see anything and from second eye also vision is blurred. I want to know what options we have? Also can you please confirm what Speciality is required to such problem so that I can contact Doctor with similar speciality in XXXXXXX or XXXXXXX Please note that doctors in XXXXXXX see no hope for vision correction. Do you think my father's vision can be improved?

Hi,
Thank for your follow up.

There may be a chance of vitreous hemorrhage because of diabetic retinopathy, as your fatheris a diabetic. You have to consult an ophthalmologist for further evaluation. Unless ophthalmologist checks the retina, we cant come to a conclusion.
