Brief Answer:
Fluid in your ear

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You had an ear infection last week and your ENT doctor gave your antibiotics but the ear pressure has worsened. This maybe due to increased fluid behind the ear drum. This can occur after an ear infection. To help reduce the pressure I usually recommend that my patients take a decongestant like pseudofed for 1 week or if extreme pressure use afrin nose spray for 3 days. This will help reduce the pressure and allow the fluid to drain better. If you still have pain and pressure you should see your ENT doctor again. You may need the fluid drained or you may have a different condition.
