What Causes Blood In Urine?
Question: i had emailed a couple of times about having blood (A LOT of blood) in my urine, just once. I had kidney CT scan and they said there is a "nodule" on my bladder. Does that necessarily mean that it is cancer? Will I have to have surgery so they can perform a biopsy? What are the odds that it is benign?
Brief Answer:
You need to consult qualified Urologist for Cystoscopy and Biopsy
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .
Based on the facts that you have posted you had hematuria and your CT scan has revealed nodule in the bladder .
The precise nature of the nodule in the bladder can be confirmed only on histopathological examination of a tiny piece from the nodule for which you need to consult qualified Urologist who will take a biopsy from the nodule and send it for examination .
It can not be commented whether it is benign or malignant only on CT Scan findings .
Hope I have answered your query .Please feel free to ask if you have more questions .I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.
