What Causes Blood In Urine Before Menstruation?

Question: Just before my period I lose blood when I pee. This is regular. Cervical screening clear.

Thank you for using HCM,

What I am understanding from your question is that you see from the color of your urine that you are losing blood. If I understood it right, then it is not a problem because happens that the menstrual period blood spreads over the entrance of the urethra and it may give the impression that its coming from the urine.

On the other side, you need to make sure with a urine analyse outside of the menstrual cycle that you are not losing blood with the urine, that in case if you are sure that its coming from the urine, and not from the period blood.
Blood in the urine is not normal on any case, and a cervical screening won't rule it out. So, my recommendation would be to do a urine analyse, around 3 days after the menstrual cycle has finished. If it is negative for blood, then do not worry about.
