Hello.

Thank you for the query.

Was it blood mixed with stool or on its furface? When was your last colonoscopy done? Do you have any pain or rectum itching?
Blood on stool surface can be caused by hemorrhoids or rectal fissure. Pain and itching can be present as well.
Blood mixed with stool is usuaaly caused by a colon polyp or colon cancer.
If you have not had colonoscopy in last few years, it should be done as a first step. Please consult gastrologist with it.
