Question: Hi, i am an 18 year old female and just experienced bright red bloody diarrhoea. after i had gone i also experienced severe a severe cramping sensation in my abdomen for a number of minutes. My bowel movements vary from being really constipated for a few days to having diarrhoea for a couple of days. I haven't consumed anything red food or drink either. I have missed my period for two months also and have taken two pregnancy tests but the results have both been negative.

Brief Answer:
get stool examination done

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The most likely cause is infective diarrhoea.
I would suggest to get a stool examination done.
I would suggest to start an antibiotic like ciprofloxacin. This is a prescription drug. Take plenty of fluids and an antispasmodic like dicyclomine for the pain relief.

In case the symptoms persist beyond a week, you would need a colonoscopy.

Hope this helps
