Detailed answer below

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
Bloating may occur due to both upper and lower gi problems. This may also be functional, particularly because you are having depressive disorder. Among the upper gi problems, peptic ulcer disease, non ulcer dyspepsia, antral or duodenal or gastric inflammation or erosion are the causes. It may also be due to gall stone, liver disease, small intestinal or colonic infection e.g. giardiasis, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease etc.
A detailed clinical evaluation is needed to come to a diagnosis.
I need the following information-
1. Do you have pain abdomen? If yes, what is the site and nature of the pain?
2. Do you have fever?
3. How is your bowel habit?
4. Are you having nausea and vomiting and heartburn?
5. Have you ever had blood in stool or colitis?
6. Why are you having Lyrics?
7. Do you have diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease or any other comorbidity?
8. Have you ever taken analgesic or steroid for long ?
9. Do you have intolerance to milk products?
For the time being you may follow the below mentioned advice-
1. Tab Simethicone 60 mg thrice daily if you are not allergic to it for 7 days.
2. Ispagulah husk- 2 tar in a cup of water at bedtime.
3. Enterogermina oral suspension- one such twice daily for 14 days.
4. High fibre low fat diet.
5. Stool test for routine examination and occult blood.
6. Blood test for complete blood count, urea, creatinine, electrolytes, liver function test, amylase, lipase, fasting TSH, HbA1c.
7. Continue your current medications
8. Regular exercise if possible for 30-45 min./day.
You may also need to have USG of whole abdomen and endoscopic visualization.
For further evaluation, please reply with the above mentioned information and reports.
You should also consult a local gastroenterologist for clinical examination and further management.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushik
