Question: Hello
I had missed misscarriage blighted ovum at 5 week I want to know it happen becoz of my fibroid?

before my first iui attempt i had lapo it's confirmed both my tubes r ok but only 1 of my tube is open & I had pcos so ovarian drilling is done in both ovaries now I m taking obimet sr 500mg regularly. I have one uterus enlarged fibroid plus in the fundal & towards right cornual.
plz advice do I need to treat this fibroid first before trying to concieve . I tried my 1st attempt in iui & it ended in blighted ovum. what should I do . my gyne said to try again with iui after 2 months.

The blighted ovum that you had is not related to fibroid that you have. Removing the fibroid does not assure a successful pregnancy. It is better to try another cycle of IUI for conception rather than planning for surgery.
