What Causes Bleeding From Throat And Nose Along With Palpitations?
Question: Im worried about my chest and heart. I was in the shower and i started to gag and then i heard a loud pop and blood came up my throat and nose. i didnt notice any changes until a couple of days later my heart started to palpitate a lot and i had pain in and around my heart area which i have nearly all the time. Can u tell me the cause of this pain? was it a broken blood vessell that popped? would this have effected my heart? ive had an ecg,.echo dopler and chest xray and they came back fine.

I can understand your concern.
If your investigation for heart and lung is within normal limits, yes it can be a broken vessel of respiratory tract (EAR NOSE THROAT OR LUNGS) which may have caused, spontaneous bleeding.
From your old records with HCM, I believe you were having phlegm coming out of your throat before this , calls for examination by an ENT expert, as well.
Your cause of chest pain may be muscular if heart and lungs are normal.
Considering every thing, A clinical evaluation is more important than investigation to decide to the site of bleeding.

I forgot to mention that ive been having nerve aches in my left leg since this happened, do u think its related to the popping in my throat or the heart? what would u recommend i do? just let it heal by itself?
