Brief Answer:
Causes are like dehydration etc

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.

The causes of this are many but since it disappeared next day that suggest it could be due to poor oral hygiene or dehydration leading to bacterial overgrowth. Usually this will disappear if hydration is maintained and also hygiene by cleaning the tongue.

I suggest you to continue good oral hygiene and drink more water and also clean tongue daily with tongue cleaner. If the episode repeats then you may consult a dermatologist and take antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. If any further queries are there I would love to help.

Dr Deepika Patil
