Question: MY WIFE USED TIGER BALM DUE TO HEADECHE..AT MORNING IT LEFT SOME BLAK SCAR INF ACE WHICH NOT GOING AFTER DONE MANY FACE WASH OR FACE LOTION WHAT NEED TO DO PLEASE ADVICE..SHE HAS SENSITIVE SKIN

Brief Answer: details below Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing to us. These balms contain ingredients which can irritate and burn the skin, if applied in large quantity. These is known as contact irritant dermatitis Now to treat the same, ask her to apply fluticasone cream( like flutivate cream) twice in a day for few days. Hopefully it should resolve in few days. Sometimes the area may resolve with slight hyperpigmentation. If this happens, she should use a kojic acid cream( kojivit/kojiglow/cosglow etc) to lighten the pigmentation in that area. is it available in medical store...what you say the three cream...when to apply...can you give brief description which one to apply first then which one cream to apply i bit confuse about which cream to buy...is this cream available in medical store...can you give the name of cream

Brief Answer: details below Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing back. She should use flutivate cream twice in a day as it being a steroid cream would soothe and heal the irritated skin. Hopefully, the area would resolve without any hyperpigmentation in few days or a week. However, if in case pigmentation develops after the area is completely healed, then she should stop flutivate and start using any one of these kojic acid creams( kojivit or cosglow or kojiglow) twice in a day. All these creams contain the same active ingredient ie kojic acid. These creams are easily available with good chemist shops. Hope this answered your query. Take care

today morning she has pain on skin beneath eyebrows has dark line and give pain...it was because that day i put tiger balm on it...so would you suggest to put that fluitivate cream on it or any other lotion to put...because of it eyebrows beneath skin so i want to take precautions before using any cream.she put fluitivate lotion on face which is pretty effective but still she has black scar on eyebrows beneath skin please suggest

Also if its too painful, she may take an analgesic like paracetamol or ibuprofen. Within few days, the area should heal.
