What Causes Black Mark At The Bottom Of Vaginal Opening?

default
Posted on Mon, 21 Sep 2015
Question: I have a black mark at the bottom of the opening of my vagina. It almost looks like blood got trapped in the skin. I was having intercourse with my boyfriend & during foreplay he was being a little rough with his hands & I think he may have accidentally bit me. Will that skin get black like that from an accidental injury to the area?

Brief Answer:
Bite injury will heal

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for your query.

I have read you query and I understand your concerns black mark.

Following is my reply:

1) Such injuries are commonly seen during rough sex and foreplay. This could have occurred due to bite or scratching hard. This does not appear to be due to any other accidental injury.

2) This black mark will be due to blood collected inside skin. This will slowly heal over a week. This area undergoes changes in colour before healing completely.

3) This black skin will heal and you dont need to worry about it.

I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.

Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.
