Brief Answer:
Yes, a neurologist should also be included; other treatment options as well

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I have two suggestions ma'am:

+Treat the arthritis: Options include
-Oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
-Disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs
-Hyaluronic acid therapy
-Steroids
-Anti-depressants (lately seem to contribute to reduce/suppress pain to quite an extent)

+Visit a neurologist: A. The swelling in the joints can cause compression of the surrounding structures (here suspecting blood vessel compression) resulting in pain
B. The back injury could have resulted in your discs being either bulged or a slip, which can put pressure on the nerves and the spinal cord resulting in pain syndrome. An MRI spine test will be required to diagnose the region causing the pain and to help direct treatment for the same ma'am. Please also do consider physiotherapy as this greatly contributes towards rehabilitation

I hope you find my response helpful ma'am. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best wishes.
