Brief Answer:
Dont worry about ectopic pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concerns about possibility of ectopic pregnancy.

This back pain and other symptoms are due to progesterone hormone support you are taking. These are not related to ectopic pregnancy.

I don't think there can be another ectopic pregnancy.

I suggest you get an ultrasound scan done after 5 days which will be able to show you intrauterine pregnancy sac (twins likely).

Meanwhile just relax and dont worry about ectopic pregnancy.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Went to the doctor on 13th March.. saw the gestation sac and yolk sac.my doctor said the gestation sac is placed at the right place..He had called me up for ultrasound on 20th March..
yesterday I saw little red clot on the toilet paper got scared called my doctor he had asked me to take tranexamic acid tablet.which I had just one tablet and then I didn't experience bleeding for whole day and night. .But today I had little clot again..I got my betahcg done yesterday and it counted 15th March: 4765.74miU/ml.on 7th March it was 713.5miU/ml.I am really worried why is this clotting coming.

Brief Answer:
Dont worry about clot

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Congratulations on seeing gestational sac. I am happy that my previous advice regarding ectopic pregnancy was right.

The present clot what you see are temporary phenomenon hat keep happening in first trimester. They dont pose major threat and you dont loose pregnancy. Dont worry about it.

Your beta hCG levels are fine. You should be able to see fetal heart beat by March 20.

Let me know if you need more clarifications.

Thanks for your prompt reply.I guess you knew how eagerly I was waiting for your message ☺
Are these clots common with ivf? Do I need to get betahcg test again tomorrow? What could be the reason of clotting?
Is taking tranexamic acid right for the fetal development? Do I need to be on complete bed rest?is it true that hcg rises in 72-96 hrs after it touches 1200miU/ml count?

Brief Answer:
Dont worry about clots

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your anxiety.

These clots and bleeding are commonly seen as baby tries to get implanted deep into the uterus. This is normal and dont worry about it.

Tranexamic acid is not necessary. But can be taken as there is no harm to fetal development.

You dont need complete bed rest. You can walk around at home or garden.

hCG rises every 48 hours and not 72-96 hours.

Dont worry about clots.

Brief Answer:
Everything is fine

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Everything is fine with baby.

There is no question of ectopic pregnancy as sac is seen already.

Back pain could be due to some changes in sleeping position.

I suggest you relax and don't think about it.

I will be happy to answer any questions you have. Feel free to ask.

Hi,

I went to my doctor today, the fetal pole measures 5.05mm and heartbeat is there. but I saw in the finding that the sac is near cervical canal.. though my doctor didn't say anything about it. He even have asked me to go for walk and do some physical activity. He was satisfied with the findings. What I should interpret about location?

Brief Answer:
Congratulations

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Congratulations on seeing heart beat.

There should be no problem.

I want to see the scan pictures and reports about how low is the sac into cervix.

Please scan and attach the ultrasound scan report.
