What Causes Appetite Loss Along With Fatigue?
Question: Sir
I have cancer fobia far 20 days and lost my appetite and my body feel so tiered soon. Will it happen and how to over come from it. I usualy have this fobia i had this colon cancer fobia 6 months back and went for a ct now the fobia is on stomac. Will it lower my hungernesss. I completely lost my hungerness and lost 4 kgs in 25 days. Or i might have have cancer. Attached my ct reports. Help me . I feel no need of food. Not only on food on all activity on all other work also. Taking phycatrict tabs also. How to over come or will i have cancer.

I have gone trhough the CT images and they show hypoattenuated areas on liver but no problem in stomach. Your fears about cancer of stomach and ill ofund and excessive. The reason that you have lost your appetite is cause of the anxiety. The anxiety disorder that you are having can be termed as hypochondriasis. This needs treatment and after treatment your appetite will improve.
Fluovoxamine is a good drug for treating these kind of illnesses. Further clomipramine is also useful. These drugs need to be given for a long and time and shows good benefit.
Further cognitive behavioural theraoy also helps in these kind of symptoms.
Syp Cyproheptadine is a good option for increasing appetite temporarily until you seek psychiatric help.

Realy thanks. One of the Dr says there is a chance of occirance. As fullness of stomac and loss of appetite is there. Ct taken on April 2014. Why stomac fullness is there why so. Pls help me if u r in XXXXXXX i would meet u .

Realy thanks for replying these many time. Will anxiety reduce the appetite so much. I will started taking the syrup asoff now. Stomacfullness and one Dr says endoscopy will show the cancer not the ct and my friend radiologist says it has been seen dilated so its not there and can not develop in short period. So i wpuld ask your advice. I have reduced wt of 4 kgs in 25 days. Will ct scan show clear pic of stomac and stomac getting full after small meal. Reason what would be. Pls help me .

I understand. The ct was taken 6 months back. In this time gap will cancer have come is mu dought. When i have a discomfort on upper abdomen and some feel i feel some thing is wrong and will i die. So fear is there for past 25 days .

No i had left side back hip pain. My fear was colon cancer at that time .

Realy thanks for replying. Will gas in stomac also lower the appetite. I feel stomac full in the morning too. Because of this problem not able to concentrate on any work. Will try that syrup today .
