Brief Answer:
Hair follicle infection / inflammation.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to health care magic. Dr. Ganesh

1.The most possible cause in this case is hair follicle - it can be infective aetiology or inflammatory changes with collection within.

2.In this case the treatment will be a course of antibiotics in case of small and uncomplicated condition. I case of large with complicated condition - a small incision and drainage followed by a course of antibiotics.

3. As a remedy - do not squeeze, compress, scratch ( disturb ) the location, as this may complicate the condition and delay in healing process.

4.Maintain local hygiene and clean the area with antiseptic liquid.

5.However it needs to examine - Take an appointment with your GP and get examined and treated accordingly. Good luck.
