Ok better than used to be back in XXXXXXX My doctor prescribed me cyclacur but i am still very stressed that even with cyclacur still wont come. In general i am very stressed with that. I have bad thoughts that for my period not to come i might have cancer in my ovaries or i might have early menopause. What do you think based on my blood test results? Cab hormonal test show a kind of cancer. Also i have been checked with a gynecologist 2 years ago but it was ok i mean apart from the fact that i was very slim i had nothing else

Brief Answer:
Do one USG and some other tests.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for attached reports.

I have reviewed your all reports and they are almost normal except estrogen level.

I suggest you to stop running for few months, take protein rich diet with more green vegetables and IRON supplements.

Do one ultrasound scan to check status of reproductive organ, blood test for AMH and repeat the LH/ FSH test.

If above test reports become normal, then combined hormonal pill can be given for 3-6 months to resume your period. Kindly, consult with your doctor regarding this.

All the best and good luck.

Dr S Patra

Brief Answer:
Cancer is unlike. Do some tests.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

At first, you need to undergo one pelvic ultrasound scan to know the status of your reproductive organs.

Cancer is unlike as most of the blood test reports are normal. You should undergo blood test for AMH, CA-125 and LH/ FSH. These will help to confirm the diagnosis.

If your period resumes after 3-6 months treatment, you can able to conceive in the future. Kindly, revert back to me following all test reports.

All the best and good luck.

Brief Answer:
Take low carbohydrates and fats.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for your query.

Low estrogen could be due to the following reasons:

1) Decreased functioning of the ovaries - peri-menopausal age group
2) Cysts in the ovaries or PCOD
3) Decreased functioning of the pituitary gland;
4) Eating disorders and dieting resulting in low body fat;
5) Excessive exercise resulting in low body fat

All above reasons should be eliminated through proper treatment and hormone therapy to resume your period and fertility.

Take low carbohydrates and fats. Increase the fiber in your diet. There are certain foods that are high in natural estrogen, phytoestrogen. Foods include soybeans, tofu, edamame and beans, peas, fruits, vegetables and XXXXXXX

Be sure to include foods high in vitamin C, the B vitamins, and carotene. These include oranges and other citrus fruits, artichokes, asparagus, corn, peppers, XXXXXXX spinach, carrots, beets, bananas, avocadoes, collard greens and chard, and many seeds and nuts.

Fresh foods are better than processed foods and eating a well-balanced diet will help your body produce its own estrogen.

Hope, I have answered your query. Good luck.

Dr S Patra

Brief Answer:
Take overall balanced diet with some added supplements.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for follow up query.

You need to take HIGH protein diet with LOWER carbohydrate and Fat. Increase fiber in diet with added supplements of vitamin, iron and estrogen.

Excessive fat is usually NOT recommended as it may lead to weight gain and hormonal disturbance, lead to late period.

Basically, you need overall balanced diet to resume your period as early as possible.

Hope, I have cleared your confusion. All the best.

Good morning again. You relaxed me a bit. If you considered that my main fear that increases anorexia and exercise was my fear around cancer. I mean its difficult to say but are there are chances that my period will never resume again? In such cases are there are alternative ways to get pregnant? I really really stressed cause i added 9 kilos since XXXXXXX as the nutritionist told me i havent loose them and my period is still ansent
