What Causes Air While Urinating?

Question: after I urinate air follows urination. Like farting through the eurethra.
also awful odorus urine.

The most common cause for air while urinating is if there is a connection between the urinary bladder and the colon known as colovesical fistula and the second reason is an infection of the urinary bladder

Here is how you go about it

1. Get a urine routine done to rule out a urinary tract infection. If it does show evidence of an infection then it should be treated with antibiotics
2. If you persist to have air while urinating then I suggest you get a cystoscopy done to rule out this fistula.

The ideal doctor to approach for this is a Urologist.
