Hello,

Thanks for writing.

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

In this scenario we first have to look for the simple things instead of complex mechanisms...

Simply ill digestion can cause problem in gut movement. Frequesnt bowel movements can well cause breakage in gut integrity which can cause bleeding eventually I would suggest you to do following things.

1) Use ample fluids.
2) Use high fibre diets specially the whole wheat products you can even use organic fibre supplements.
3) Use vegetables.
4) Use less meat.
5) Avoid smoking..fizzy drinks.. alcohol and coffee caffeine.
6) For now dont use any med wait for 2..3 days to see how it responds.

In my opinion things are expected to get better soon.

I hope this answered your question, a
if you have more please feel free to ask.

hellodoctor, thanks for your reply, could you answer another question, sine May i have had numerous courses of antibiotics for water infections for which i have since had a cystoscopy and have chronic cystiitis. Coulkd this have affected my bowel this way, as I have had three occasions of this happening over the last month, with waves of pain in my bowel on the left side . The frequent bowel movements have stopped, and i thjnk i am normal again, but then I noticed the red stripe in my stool., unexpectedly.

Brief Answer:
Everything seems to be getting better.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for writing back,

Yes infection in one part of body can effecr the other part... but in your case i am of the view that this might just be a simple case of GIT upset due to poor digestion..Some food material seems to have irritated your gut.

Now as you said that the bowel movement is better , this to me is a good news, I personaly am of the view that you should stay calm and eat healthy as i suggested in my previous response.

The red streak as i said might just be due to Gut irritation i hope by know it would have gone, even if it is still there you can wait for a couple of says of it to vanish.

I would suggest you to keep calm and see how things progress.

I am always there if you want to discuss any thing.

Regards.

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
