Brief Answer:
Yes! Your safe period will change.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to us.

Yes! Primolut-N can definitely change your safe period.

To calculate your safe period you have to see your 3 regular menstrual cycle after taking primolut-N.

Primolut-N containing norethisterone that is similar to female sex hormone progesterone and act by delaying menstruation by prolonging luteal phase of menstrual cycle.

Hope I have answered your query if you have further questions I will be happy to assist you.

Good luck.

Brief Answer:
Yes! Your safe period will change.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I can understand your concern, but I desire to ask a few questions from you.

For how many days before your expected period date you had started the tablet?

You had pills twice daily or once in a day?

If you want to postpone your period why you give up taking the drug after 3 days?

Please check and revert back to me.

Hope to hear soon from you.

Good luck.

Brief Answer:
You have missed dose and timing.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Nice to hear from you again.

Facts about your trouble-

- Usually for postponement of period primolut-n is started 5-7 days before your expected period date.
- The dose is usually 5 mg pill twice daily continue till the date you want to postpone period.
- The period will resume within 4-5 days after discontinuing the drug.

In your case your period will resume early because your timing and doses are not proper and you missed your pill also.

Hope it's clear your doubt, feel free to ask more.

Good luck.

Brief Answer:
It may change.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I know you had only 3 pills of primolut-N but it may also change your safe period dates.

Small amount can also cause hormonal disturbances, you should wait and watch your three menstrual cycles to calculate your safe period.

Hope it is helpful, feel free to discuss more.

Good luck.
