Posted on Wed, 1 Jun 2016
Question: My PO2, sO2, FO2Hb and FHHb were tested a few days ago in the hospital , where I went because I was feeling very bad ( dizzy, headaches, cold feeling in arms And legs, pain in the chest ) and showed a +\- 50 % vs the normal range. .. The doctors sent me back home , saying everything was normal . I was just under stress and needed to rest. I also had 2 hyperventilation crisis (or panic attacks ?) in December and November.
I really feel abnormally tired, I sleep during the day, I have no energy and black circles under my eyes despite All the sleep. Do I have to worry ? Can I hAve a pulmonary problem ?? Thank you. XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Hyperventilation can cause abnormal ABG (arterial blood gas) values.
Since you had been in hospital and doctors were telling that nothing to worry about, no need to worry for pulmonary diseases or other major diseases.
Need to know few more things, so that I can guide you better.
1. Do you smoke?
2. Do you have stressful life?
3. Are you obese?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better.

So no need to worry for major pulmonary problem.
Your other symptoms like sleepiness, headache etc are also due to stress.
