Question: My son is feeling pain in his buttocks while we his going for potty .After some time he is normal his stool is not hard .What can be probable cause of the same

At the outset, may I know your son's age? and where exactly does it hurt - do you mean in the muscle (buttock muscle) or the anal region? And is there any obvious swelling / redness where it hurts?

Pain in buttock is too broad and non specific. It's difficult to understand the cause. I shall try again after you provide more information.

He is 2 years old ..he can't explain whether in muscle or anal. ..externaly we can't see any redness and swelling

As there are no physical signs, it's difficult to predict the cause of pain. At this point, I would like to know if he complaints of pain or did you notice symptoms / discomfort to indicate he is in pain.

If he has symptoms and that's persisting, it is advisable to visit a doctor. Treatment depends on the severity of symptoms, cause of pain and his body weight.
