What Causes Abdominal Pain While Urinating, Frequent Urination And Dark Urine?
Question: Hello Doctor,
Couple of months back I've moved to a new city for work. I've fallen sick twice and general feeling of restlessness as contradictory to my personality as I play regular sports.
A week back, it used to pain in the abdomen whenever I used to urinate and also there was tendency to urinate often. The color of urine was quite dark. I was planning to meet a urologist however, now I'm fine. There isn't any pain.
What should I do now?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you had urinary symptoms like frequency .urgency,pain in abdomen and dark colored urine .
All the symptoms you had were mostly due to presence of stone in the ureter associated with UTI .
All the symptoms have resolved itself suggests that the stone may be very small and has passed out spontaneously .
Since you do not have any symptom now the investigations done at this stage may not be of much help to reveal any clue as regards the cause of these symptoms.
However it will be better to get following basic tests done
1) Routine urine test and urine culture
2) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen .
You may take prophylactic antibiotic like Norfloxacin twice daily for a week .
Ensure to drink more water to keep your urine dilute .
