Brief Answer:
Hi

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the query.
Many times it is difficult to differentiate between TB and Crohn's disease despite doing all available tests.
I have gone through your reports and you have taken 5 months ATT already. Worthwhile to wait another one month and then reevaluate by doing a colonoscopy and if required a CT scan abdomen and Capsule endoscopy to see the small intestine.
Can take symptomatic antispasmodics and anti diarrheals for present symptoms after consulting your gastroenterologist. Do not worry, anxiety may worsen your symptoms. Tuberculosis can be cured completely. IF it is crohns then you may need long term suppressive treatment with waxing and waning course. Not lot of new and safe drugs are available to control the disease symptoms.
Crohn's is controllable not a curable disease.
Life expectancy usually do not change much with Crohn' s if properly treated.
Do not worry.
Hope this answer your query.
Best wishes.
Happy to help.
Wish you a speedy recovery.

Thank you

My pathology report showing indeterminate colitis but pcr is positive for tb,so i am in correct diagnosis or i have to recheck again because i am doubting the symptoms are flaring up slowly again and can you suggest me good diet?

What to eat and what not to eat?

What do you say about milk consumption?my doctor told don't drink milk, but 3 days back i had icecreams so my symptoms flared up because before that i was really doing good no pain no diarrehea feeling, but suddenly after eating icecream my body started showing effect is this a notable point for my disease or its just due to dietary cause.

Hello

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for the query,
Well I have gone through the reports.
Both the test have their limitations, though PCR is sensitive test not full proof.
Worthwhile getting a repeat colonscopy done to look for resolution of ulcers.
Diet does not make much difference, if pain then can avoid high fibre diet.
Well so much worsening of symptoms of symptoms after ice cream may be due to an infection which is food borne. If you had absolutely no symptoms prior then can wait for some time and they may resolve.
Hope this answers your query.
Wish you a speedy recovery.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for the query.
Well ATT medications can some time cause nausea and poor appetite and is possibly the cause of your poor weight gain.
Do not worry take high calorie high protein diet, eggs if it is ok with you.
It may take time to gain weight again if you have TB.
Best wishes
