What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Indigestion Along With Diarrhea?
Question: Experiencing gas, bloating, indigestion; also itchy anus and on occasion diarrhea. Itchy nose also. Recently noticed a yellowish rice shaped (always the same) snot when I blow my nose. Do I have a parasite? Should I go to my doctor and ask for lab work. Or is there an off the counter meds I can quickly get?

Yes most likely its enteritis ,usually enteritis is by viral infection(Nova virus) But as you mentioned its already more then a weak so most likely you are having either bacterial or protozoal infection or a mixed infection.Indigestion bloating gas loose stool etc are all tell tale signs of enteritis.
I would suggest you to go for few tests
Ultra sound abdomen
Stool test under microscope
Complete blood count
Total and differential leucocyte count.
If stool test is positive for bacterial or protozoal infection.Start taking Zithromax(Azithromycin 500 mg once daily) and secnidazole 1 gram daily for 5 days.
Along with it take Fybrogel husk,It will increase the bulk of your stools.
For gas take Omprazole (OTac) once daily.
Tab imodium 4mg stat folowed by 2 mg twice daily can be added to contriol frequency of motions
Eat light and easily digestible food.
Drink plenty of water and electrolytes to maintain rehydration.
For parasitic infestation take a Three days couse of Albendazole 400 mg once daily at night.
Unfortunately you need to get a prescription for them.
Follow up with reports.
You would feel better in 2 doses.
Get well soon.
