Brief Answer:
My suggestion

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have read your response.
Here are a few things that you need to understand.
1. the diet that you are taking is a high protein diet.
2. this is needed because you are taxing your muscles and the healing muscles need protein.
3. any protein that is extra in the body is converted to glucose or fat.
4. muscles need protien for their normal levels too.
5. till there is a match in what you take in and what you need/use, there is a chance that your belly fat would grow.
6. Almost always belly fat grows first. As the muscle mass increases slowly, the added muscle mass consumes calories and thereafter you start loosing weight again.

Having explained that to you, I would suggest reducing the extra protien in your diet. And add running to your regime. A half an hour of jogging/running in addition to what you do in the gym will help cut off that extra fat that is getting converted from the extra protein.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Please feel free to ask a follow up query if you need clarification on any aspect of my response.

Best of luck,
Dr Mittal

Dear sir,

This is again the same set of answers which i did expect.I do think you have not read my question properly or i would say you are in a hurry to reply it as quick as possible.

So let me ask you some toughs question how muscle grow? What time it would take to grow ? What sets of genes responsible for muscle to grow what are the main hormones which tends to make muscle to grow?
Did you calculate the calorie intake of diet did you calculate the protein intake of diet or you just saw the previous answer of that nutritional expert.

My question was my body is not responding my muscle are not growing my question was not extra protein or belly fat. I fail to understand the half hearted approach of panelist over here.

Why it does take so much time for biceps muscle to grow and also chest muscle my question as simple as that???

Brief Answer:
Specific answesr as requested

Detailed Answer:
I empathize with your problem.
I would however ask you to be patient.
Body building is not a 4 month job. Else everyone would be KHALI.

As for the amount of time that needs to be put in regarding the muscle building- it depends from person to person. A few things have to be left to genetics.
Also, Thanks for directing me to the dieticians responses. Had not really considered them till now. And considering everything, she has said everything I did, in fact in more details, considering that she can give you better food options, her being a dietician
.
As for the genes involved, its not a completed science. However, so far the following genes gave been found to be involved-
FOX 01
FOX 16
UBIQUITIN LIGASE 1 genes
IGF 1 genes
FAK
TYROSINE PHOSPHORYLATION gene
MUER-1
MERF-1
MYOD-2
MYOD1
IGF 2
PGC- 1 ALPHA
MYOSIN gene.
And thats just to name a handful.

Hormones dealing with muscle bulk include
Growth factor
Glucagon
Insulin
Insulin like growth factor
Glucocorticoids
Thyroid hormones
Catecholamines
and a part of Pituitary based hormones.

I hope that satisfies your tough questions.

As for calculating the protein and calory in diet, I would say I had very well understood your question the first time around when I told you that the body gains fat first, then as the muscles build slowly overtime, the muscles start consuming the calories.
But I guess you read over it too quickly, without trying to understand what I am trying to tell you.
I would also suggest that you talk to your trainer to check your technique of gyming and possibly change the regime to your satisfaction.

I will NOT COMMENT upon your last comment about "half hearted approach". I understand you are frustrated and confused.
Best of luck

Hi,
Lets the discussion going on
What do you mean by that Body building is not a 4 month job. Else everyone would be KHALI. This is absolutely reprehensible.Did i mention if i did then show me that in which i mention that bodybuilding is a 4 month job in fact my question was my body is not responding.

Talking about effects of genes on muscle growth-
Insulinlike growth factor 1 (IGF-1),(IGF-2)
myostatin (MSTN)
gene called PPAR-Delta
alpha-actinin-3
erythropoietin (EPO)
i do think homeobox (Hox a and d) and the AR genes located on the X chromosome at Xq11-12
and the rest you have mentioned
Talking about Hormones testosterone and dihydro testosterone may be roe to play i think.

Ho much extra protein in my diet how much extra crab and how much extra fats if mentioned that it was high protein then requested to mention.

Requested to share that body will gain fats then muscle i have not came across such thing if you share the source of information in which you found i will go deep into that otherwise i will debunk that one.
Muscle build over time slowly why ? How much time if we talk in average?
why few things left to be gentics not much things.

For your kind information i am not confused i am well prepared through secondary research.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As for the added genes and hormones you added, yes they may have a role. as i said its a long list.
as for the protein and diet, our dietician has already given you the information, but as I understand from that conversation, and the current forum, diet is not really your concern.
For my source, you are welcome to read the medical books.
And the time needed to build up depends on muscle morphology.
As for your secondary research, I guess you know the answer to your primary question already

Dear sir,

Again you are misinterpreting the whole things you said Body building is not a 4 month job. Else everyone would be KHALI from you own side.

You said that the body gains fat first, then as the muscles build slowly overtime, the muscles mention that book name and paragraph from where you found.

Diet is not my concern let me tell you i know what diet require and what not i have complete knowledge on that.
I know all my questions but i want to get it answer from expert because i am not the expert but i am science post graduate so i know things.

Again i am repeating my question that my body is not responding you could have answered it as to be to check the blood to see that all the hormones mentioned above were normal or not.
Again i will seek more information from your side.

Brief Answer:
clarifying further

Detailed Answer:
I am assuming you are thinking that the inability to gain muscles is some kind of medical problem.
But that is not the scenario.
Its most often a genetic reason where the person is inherently light built and is unable to gain muscle bulk.
Also, I have said that muscle building takes time. 4 months is not long enough a time.
I am assuming you know who Khali is. If 4 months was enough, everyone who went to gym would have been muscular like XXXXXXX
Best of luck.

Dear sir,

You are a doctor and more knowledgeable than me and in terms of experience too.
I don't want to disrespect you it seemed that you are very much inclined toward Khali Did my question was about khali?
Did i ever ask to you within 4 month one could be a body builder i do think from you Khali concept that you haven't understood what i did ask to you.

My question was in that 4 month no improvement has been occurred yet not a single cm gain that what i had asked. But very sadly you exaggerated and escalated the topic to such an extent that it went dubious.
I do know that muscle building does take time so need to repeat it again and again.
