Brief Answer:
It may be a cancer sign if you smoke.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Do you smoke?

If you smoke, this lymph node can be a sign of something serious (like a lung cancer). Cough can be a sign of it as well. This is the worst and also less possible reason.
Usually lymph nodes do appear due to infection in the close area. It can be tooth infection, throat infection or lungs infection as well.

I suggest you to consult your doctor. If you smoke, chest CT is the first thing you should have done.
If you do not smoke, and its only a single lymph node, you may try to take an antibiotic and see if this decreases.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
