pain started yesterday.

No sexual activity No trauma, no injury
No redness, no swelling, no itching
No discharge No bleeding
Pain is relieved when touching and with warm shower
History of diabetes ? I have been told I am borderline.
No antibiotics.
It is now 8:oo and I am not having pain and it was the same way last night. The mornings are terrible. In the morning I want to scream--it hurts. It is now 8:45 and the pain is here again. perhaps not as sharp but painful. I did not say earlier buy I am incontinent.

The pain you are experiencing is likely due to vaginal dryness along with pelvic muscle dysfunction. You do not have to worry about any vaginal or urinary infection at this point.

Combination treatment with vagina Estrogen creams and Kegels exercise can help with your symptoms.

Please be advised to follow up with your gynecologist for necessary management. Meanwhile, use hot compress and take over the counter Tylenol for pain.
