Brief Answer:
glaucoma left eye with effect of peripheral vision.

Detailed Answer:
It can be due to glaucoma. IOT and field tracing is to be done.Fundus examination with indirect ophthalmoscope is to be done to cover wider fields. Disc cupping and cup disc ratio is to be assessed. Holes and peripheral tear should be excluded. Exclude diabetes and hypertension.Refraction should be done and if error detected then it should be corrected.Cataract should be excluded. If glaucoma detected then it can be treated by medicine like diamox or drop like tenalol. There is also surgical option like trabeculectomy.

My son looked at my eye and said he saw tissue that looked torn or loose on the left side by the color of my eye. Today my eye seems fine no pressure or rippling

Brief Answer:
improved by its own. so no treatment is required.

Detailed Answer:
one can not look at floating or torn tissues in naked eye. if now you have improved and there is no ripple then it is well and good. Now all your problems are over so further treatment is not required. so no worry.
