What Causes A Random Stomach Ache?

Question: Hello Dr, ive been experiencing very random stomachache .
This starts at any given point of time ,
Does not depend on what i eat.
The pain goes away on its own but off late i think the frequency has increased.
My stool is normal.
Please advise

I have gone through your query carefully and understand your concern.

A random stomach ache is mostly due to gastric irritation, however, to be more accurate, I would like you to answer a few simple questions about this pain.

1. Since how long have you been having this issue?
2. What is the location of the pain?, Is it just above the belly button, to the left of it, to the right of it, or straight below it, or to the left or right but below? Please mention this accurately.
3. If you were to describe the pain, how would you describe it? Dull aching, stabbing kind, burning etc?
4. Carefully make a note of the time of occurrence, does the pain start before you eat something, or does it start after you eat something?
5. How severe is the pain?
6. Do you have any burning sensation while passing urine?
7. Have you noticed any red colour / blood in the urine?
8. Do you have any difficulty passing motion?
9. What is the colour and consistency of the stools? Is it pale in colour, or greenish, or brown or red, and is it loose (like water), or is it medium, or is it hard?
10. Do you have any fever?
11. Have you noticed any yellowish colour in the white of your eyes?

I would like to mention a few general precautions to begin with.

1. Eat healthy food rich in fiber at regular intervals, that is, eat a specific time every day, and do not miss your meals.
2. Eat healthy breakfasts.
3. Drink plenty of water everyday (2-3 liters per day)
4. Do not drink alcohol.
5. Do not smoke cigarettes.
6. Do not drink carbonated beverages like coke/pepsi etc.
7. Avoid fried, smoked/grilled and oily foods.
8. Exercise regularly.
