Brief Answer:
I don't think this are is contagious!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this lesion that you have reported. I have reviewed the information fully as well as the images that you have uploaded. I strongly believe that that this is not an infection and thus not contagious. If it were an infection, I would have expected it to spread and cause more inflammation over these 3weeks.

Have you had the chance to get this area examined by a physician? This is a very sensitive area and I never ever want to work with probabilities on these. I always like to have definite answers. That I cannot guarantee right now and will suggest that you get this black spot examined. If need be, it can be excised for further examination. Having clear answers is what I will like to see at this time.

In all, I do not think this is infectious and or contagious. Given its location, I suggest you get a doctors examination and maybe testing if need be. An OBGYN would be the bet person to see at this time.

I hope this is guiding enough and provides enough information for you to act on. I wish you well and keep me posted on what the next steps and information is . Always feel free to ask for clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
IT is not common but most are benign!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

They are not common but most black spots on the genitals have no pathological significance. My advice is that you stay calm and let's get definitive answers when you visit the gynecologist. If it were something as worrisome as cancers it will not increase in as a little as three weeks. It is unlikely to be an STD as well and would most likely not represent any particular disease state.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Keep me updated with the progress on this.
