Question: I have a painful hard lump on my right shoulder blade. Hurts when touched. What could this be ?

The painful lump on the shoulder blade can be due to a hematoma, inflammation due to an injury, an infection or an abscess or a lipoma.
It needs a direct examination and investigations like FNAC to detect the cause of the lump.
Till then it is best to give rest to the area, take a mild pain killer and do a hot compress to have relief.
