What Causes A Lesion On The Temple?

default
Posted on Wed, 17 May 2017
Question: Hi Doctor....I'm attaching an image of a small lesion on my temple....can you please take a look and let me know if it looks like a fibrous papule? It looks redder in the picture than it usually does (usually more flesh colored), as I was (stupidly) picking at it a bit. I cannot remember exactly when it first appeared. It is firm but not hard at all.

I do have two fibrous papules on my nose. I'm somewhat neurotic about my skin, and I visit a dermatologist regularly. I had pointed this spot out to the physicians assistant there and she believed it to be a fibrous papule.

Thank you for your help!
